A colour the dew invented.
In the 10th century, silk dyed jade-green was left out overnight in a palace courtyard. The dew rewrote the colour — by morning it had turned into a pale, luminous aqua no dye pot could have planned. That accidental colour was named Tianshui Bi, "the sky-water green," and it became one of the most coveted shades in Chinese history. This dress is that colour, with flowers hidden inside it.

- Tonal floral jacquard — white lily blossoms woven into the pale aqua ground in the same colour family, visible as a play of light rather than contrast. Quiet from across the room, unmistakable up close. This is the jacquard loom's version of understatement.
